Luiz Carlos Ferreira

Luiz Carlos Ferreira, best known as Luisinho (born in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, Brasil, October 22, 1958) is a former association football player in defender role.

During his career (1975–1996) he played for Vila Nova, (in 2003 another footballer named Luizinho played for Vila Nova, Luiz Antônio de Oliveira) Atlético Mineiro, Cruzeiro and in Portugal with Sporting Clube de Portugal. He won nine Campeonato Mineiro, five consecutive (1978–1982, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1994).

For the Brazil national football team he played 32 international matches, from August 1980 to June 1983, scored two goals and participated at the 1982 FIFA World Cup.[1]
